Unboxing Food Boxes | Degustabox June
Turns out we love getting boxes full of surprise goodies. Degustabox is right up our alley! Also turns out, making an unboxing video is kinda fun (check out us checking out our Degustabox June below…I mean…I think we’re going to be YouTube stars). I always make fun of the kids for being so obsessed with them, but maybe I just need to start watching food box un-boxing. Drool.
I think I might have been most excited about the Tickle Water (sparkling water is my jam) and the Walkers Shortbread Cookies. Although the Lundberg Grounded Snacks chips got noshed immediately. The kids always love a good sucker and, surprise to them, these Zolli Pops are actually good for their teeth!
We used the Goya goodies and the Mutti tomatoes to make dinner tonight, a quick and easy chicken tostada. Dave’s recipe for Chicken Tostadas is here.
And what better compliment to a summer meal than with a frozen berry lemonade? True Lemon gave it that citrus zing without having to juice a ton of lemons. I didn’t add any sweetener at all. Cal and I loved it, everyone else could have used a smidge of agave to cut the tartness. This one is crazy easy. Our Frozen Berry Lemonade Recipe is here.
We finished up with the shortbread cookies (which brought me back to childhood so hard, we adored shortbread growing up) dunked in some melted chocolate chips mixed with almond milk. Perfect summer meal brought to us by our new favorite food box!
